Students are always up for a challenge in Ms. Young’s STEAM: Design Thinking class. This year, they started off finding innovative ways to construct towers out of tape and spaghetti.

At the start of each class, Ms. Young also gives her students 15-minute “engineering icebreakers". For example, her students made a drawbridge out of cardboard and string! Her 12^th-grade mechatronics students worked on learning how to make a circuit with their soldered-together wire.
