Chad Jonas: Houston Astros and the Legacy of Sign Stealing in Baseball
I came up with my research topic because I knew I wanted to do my Seniors Scholars Project on sports-- specifically baseball. Also at the time when choosing my project, sign stealing in baseball was an apparent issue. I connect to my project personally because growing up I was an avid baseball player and care about the future of the sport. Also when doing my research I wanted to compare the Houston Astros Scandal in 2017-2019 to previous scandals before. Throughout my research process I have discovered how many people were affected by the scandal.
