Why did you choose York Prep?
We wanted a small environment that would challenge the kids as students but allow them to grow as people all while providing them with a good education. 

What was the most important factor when you were considering different schools?
Size and teacher/student ratio

What has been most memorable to you about York Prep?
Earlier this year, our 13yo experienced the sudden loss of a close friend (non Covid related). The teachers and faculty were so empathetic and caring during that time. And everyone was very understanding. As the new school year began, the school counselor reached out to check in and see how they were doing and how they were coping and reminded them that their door was open. The fact that they followed up on their well-being unsolicited meant a lot. We felt like part of a family/community and not just another student.
