Before coming to York Prep, Ms. Rooney worked for a total of 13 years at two boarding schools in the northeast. There, she enjoyed working not just as a teacher but as a dorm parent, coach, and international student advisor.
Ms. Rooney is Co-Director of College Guidance and. while she misses being in the classroom at times, Ms. Rooney loves working in college guidance. She finds being involved in “the next phase” of students’ lives a rewarding and exciting process.
