Dr. Sarah Davis is excited to return for her second year at York Prep. While earning her PhD at the CUNY Graduate Center, Dr. Davis began her teaching career as an adjunct professor. Before coming to York, Dr. Davis taught middle and high school English at Hunter College High School, and she continues to teach evening and summer undergraduate courses in British and African-American literature at Hunter College.  Dr. Davis loves being in the classroom, where she strives to share her own passion for learning with her students.
As a performing arts enthusiast,  Dr. Davis looks forward to enjoying cultural events at nearby Lincoln Center. When she’s not out exploring the city, Dr. Davis can usually be found at home with her husband and cat, reading a good book or listening to Prince.
