Mr. Gordon grew up in Irvington, NY and returned to the New York area in 2017 after a decade in Los Angeles and New Orleans. He believes learning history is essential for students to develop into moral and responsible people. He draws strength and inspiration from his grandmothers: Elaine, an English and Math Teacher, and Marjorie, an ESL teacher. When he’s not teaching, Mr. Gordon enjoys cooking, reading science fiction, and rooting for hopeless sports teams.
