Growing up in the Hudson Valley area in an educational family, Nicholas Turi has always had aspirations of working within academic and athletic environments. As a former high school and college student-athlete himself, he believes very strongly in the impact of education through athletics. He holds a B.A. in Sports Management from St. John’s University and a M.A. in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. During and after his studies, Mr. Turi sought and found valuable experience through high school and college athletic departments as a coach, administrator and student-athlete advisor, as well as working within the sports industry over the course of his career. He comes to York after working in sports analytics in Manhattan over the past few years.Currently living in Westchester with his wife, Marilia, they are excitedly expecting their first child.
