Jennifer (Jen) En is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at York Prep. Prior to starting her work at York, Ms. En served as the upper school assistant director at Manhattan Country School on the Upper West Side where she developed curriculum with teachers, ensured that all learners had access to an equitable education, and cultivated strong home-school connections with families. She has also worked as the learning specialist at The Co-op School in addition to later becoming the school’s interim middle school director. Ms. En began her English teaching career at a 6-12 public school in Brooklyn and has taught at independent schools in New York City and abroad.

Ms. En received her undergraduate degree in English Literature and Secondary Education from New York University and graduated from Hunter College with a master’s degree in Adolescent Special Education.
