<div align="justify">Mr. Clarke comes to us from Australia, where he was born and raised and got his Bachelor’s degree in English and American literature, and then a Master’s degree in Journalism. He worked as a foreign correspondent in Europe, Africa and elsewhere, before decamping to England, where he began teaching while he got another Master’s degree, this time in creative writing at Oxford University. He met and married a New Yorker and followed her home to where they now live on the Upper West Side. They can be found in their spare moments happily playing with their three young children in the playgrounds in Central Park.</div>
