Virtual Visit from the NYPL Research Division Librarians

On Friday, January 14th, students in Dr. Davis's Senior Scholars Research Methods class participated in a special Zoom session with librarians from the Research Division of the New York Public Library. These six seniors have been working on individual research projects all year, which will culminate in an April presentation and defense.
Dr. Davis’s students have been working on research topics including sleep deprivation in adolescents with ADHD, marketing electric cars, inequities in college admissions, how technology enables cheating in baseball, the NFL’s responsibility for the safety of its players, and the pathways of art donations. The librarians were informed of each student's project ahead of time so that they could curate a customized workshop on the advanced methods of study available to students with a library membership.
