Nouns Via Flipgrid Videos
At the beginning of the year, Ms. Hersh’s seventh-grade students demonstrated their knowledge of nouns by speaking about them on a video. It was their first use of a program called Flipgrid that they will be using throughout the year!
The assignment was simply to describe nouns by defining them and naming the different types of nouns, including common and proper and concrete and abstract. They also provided examples of each type of noun, and explained why nouns are important. We look forward to seeing more Flipgrids about grammar later this year.
