Flipgrids, Finger Plots, …and Money Heist!
Ms. Pevzner is never short of fun projects to motivate her students to learn and practice Spanish. This week, she incorporated food, the book Frida Kahlo, and TV shows.
Her ninth-grade students created short Flipgrid videos and discussed their favorite meals in Spanish. Her 12th-grade students created five-finger plot outlines for chapters from the book “Frida Kahlo” in Spanish. They were also asked to watch any show of choice in Spanish over the weekend, and write an eight- to 10-sentence response. Students enjoy starting out the week on Monday by discussing the different shows/films that they watched over the weekend, entirely in Spanish.
