ATHLETES OF THE MONTH - JUNE

Junior Cliff Osborne threw a 2-hit complete game shut out against Brooklyn Friends in the ISAL finals for the Varsity Baseball team, clinching the championship! Cliff has been a solid workhorse for the team all season. He is always willing to go above and beyond to help teammates out and create a lively atmosphere in games.
Freshman Zachary Grodman went 3 for 5 at the plate including 3 RBI, 3 walks and 3 stolen bases for the Varsity Baseball team. He also pitched 3 scoreless innings in the semifinals vs. Churchill, striking out 2 and help stabilize the team, after an early 4-0 deficit, to win the game. Not bad for a freshman!

Eighth grader Jacob Hume, a Middle School Track and field runner, went undefeated in his three 200m races during the season. Winning the Gold Medal in the 200m at the medal meet in May. He also anchored the Gold Medal winning 4×100 relay team at the championship meet. He demonstrated focus, concentration, and control as he set about achieving his goals for the season. A good man and a good teammate.
