From an Emmy-nominated actor to an award-winning composer to an internationally known painter, our Visual and Performing Arts teachers bring years of experience to every class that they teach. York Prep students have the opportunity to learn from, and work alongside, teachers who are passionate about their crafts and passionate about education.
Department Chairs
Our Arts Department Chairs, Fiona Hutchison and Karl Hartman, impart their expertise to York Prep’s arts programs. Their guidance extends to student clubs as well. Fiona advises the Broadway Club and the Drama club while Karl advises the Open Studio as well as the Set Building Club.
