In an ongoing tradition of sharing culture through food and music, York celebrated it’s annual International Dinner on the evening of Thursday, November 10th. As in years past, the York Prep Parents Association in partnership with the Performing Arts department, planned a lovely evening filled with good conversation, beautiful music, and enough delicious foreign dishes to wet anyone’s appetite. From dumplings to breadsticks and desserts galore, there was so much food in the York Prep Gymnasium that at the end of the night people had to take some with them.
Director of Student Activities, Ms. Stefanie Lopez, expressed her happiness with the success of the event. “I feel it went really well last night. Attendance was at an all-time high. I’d venture to say 250 plus.” With so much participation from parents, faculty and students, it’s no wonder the night was such a big hit. The musical performances were superb and for those who missed it, should soon be available to view on vimeo.
