Jennah DeGout, as a freshman, has helped the Girls Varsity Basketball Team achieve a 2-2 overall record in the month of November. She is no stranger to being recognized as an Athlete of the Month, as she has proven herself to be a valued teammate and leader in girls volleyball as well. This season her defense near the basket, blocking opponents and grabbing rebounds, is one of her many strong points. Scoring more than ten points a game this year also helps the cause and is a major part of the reason why the girls’ varsity team is at the top of their division in the Independent School Athletic League (ISAL). Her leadership on and off the court is paramount to the success the girls have had thus far.
Senior Alec Kerdell has helped the Boys Varsity Basketball team go 3-0 during the month of November. He has proven himself to be a leader by action, taking the court each and every day and showing what hard work does when you strive to be better. His shooting from behind the three point arc is one of the best in the league, along with his vision on the court to give his team the best opportunity to win each and every contest.
