York’s biannual field day has always been met with much anticipation by students and faculty alike, and this spring was no different. On Wednesday, April 27, the entire school packed up and shipped out to Tibbetts Brook Park at 9:00 am in order to spend the entire day enjoying the sunshine and forgetting about the schoolwork they left behind. Like the fall, this field day was made infinitely more fun than usual by the addition of the inflatables. These larger-than-life slides, mazes, and games helped provide a little variety among the typical field day standbys like baseball, frisbee, and soccer.
Once again, field day was a massive success in building school spirit and fostering community throughout the entire student body!
