Welcoming the New Year with Words of Wisdom from Lin-Manuel Miranda
The end of the year is a time of reflection, as well as an exciting time to look ahead as we get ready to embark upon a new year!
As we say farewell to 2019, we may ask what the future holds for us. Lin-Manuel Miranda spoke the simple yet sage words, “You don’t know what you don’t know” to the York Prep graduating class of 2019 during the graduation ceremony last June. While the graduates were about to start a significant journey in their lives while Mr. Miranda delivered his speech, we can also carry these wise words with us as we enter 2020. We can all plan wisely, and prepare for what’s to come. However, it is the exciting twists and turns that make life a spontaneous adventure and a constant learning experience.
