Position: Academic Technology Coordinator
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of technology use in schools, be comfortable collaborating with teachers, and be able to train faculty, students and staff in technology competencies. He/she will collaborate with colleagues in the Information Technology Services department and library to ensure that technology works in a seamless and integrated manner. Duties also include researching software for faculty, keeping abreast of the newest issues and tools in educational technology, working with students in co-curricular activities/clubs, and participating in parent education regarding technology use.
A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field is required (master’s preferred); along with knowledge of the LMS Canvas and SIS Blackbaud and some experience as a classroom teacher, preferably in Middle or High School. This 11-month, benefits-eligible position begins August 1, 2019.
